QSOC: Quantum Service-Oriented Computing

Quantum computing is quickly turning from a promise to reality, witnessing the launch of several cloud-based services that provide access quantum resources, simulators, runtimes, and programming tools, all through cloud. Unfortunately, however, existing solutions typically implicitly assume intimate knowledge about concepts operators. This vision paper introduces Service-Oriented Computing (QSOC), model for building applications using well-balanced mix classical (hybrid) approaches. We propose model-driven methodology allows application developers, service programmers build hybrid enterprise collaboratively. As result, developers can develop publish components. At same time, discover, compose, configure compose pre-built components operate without on underlying infrastructure, advocating reuse separation concerns.
